The menace of Beauty reaches across the distance between what we can know and what we can perceive. In the aftermath we can understand what happened and still be unable to live with it. Explanations remain correct while lives come apart.
Through intimacy, judgment, love, and loss, Beauty and Error asks what happens when our understanding loses its authority over the life we are living. What becomes possible when familiar answers uncouple from familiar questions? And what draws us towards encounters that push against our arrangements of meaning?
